Há pouco mais de uma semana no poder, Donald Trump já tem dado (ainda mais) que falar pelas diversas medidas que já mandou executar.
Uma das mais recentes é a ordem para barrar a entrada, nos EUA, de imigrantes de diversas nacionalidades. A Google já reagiu, e agora é a vez de também a Microsoft, Facebook, Apple e Netflix se mostrarem contra esta lei de Trump.
As medidas decretadas por Donald Trump, têm estado na ordem do dia. A mais recente tem originado diversas consequências menos positivas, não sendo nada favoráveis para a imagem que o Mundo tem tido do novo presidente americano.
Trata-se de uma ordem para barrar imigrantes de diversas nacionalidades nos EUA e, como seria de esperar, teve um impacto e reacções imediatas.
Para além dos diversos protestos, as gigantes empresas de tecnologia, que contam com um número significativo de imigrantes na sua equipa, também já reagiram.
A Google ordenou que os seus trabalhadores regressassem aos EUA, e também a Microsoft, Apple, Facebook e Netflix mostram estar contra esta lei.
Segundo Sundar Pichar, CEO da Google:

A Apple, que foi fundada por Steve Jobs, filho de imigrantes sírios, também já reagiu e Tim Cook, actual CEO da empresa de Cupertino, enviou um email aos seus funcionários onde constava a seguinte mensagem:

Apple is open – open to everyone, no matter where they come from, which language they speak, who they love or how they worship. Our employees represent the finest talent in the world, and our team hails from every corner of the globe.

We’re providing resources on AppleWeb for anyone with questions or concerns about immigration policies. And we have reached out to the White House to explain the negative effect on our coworkers and our company.

As últimas notícias dão conta que Donald Trump recuou nesta decisão e a proibição não será aplicada aos imigrantes que possuam o Green Card, o visto de residência permanente.
