A keynote da Apple de hoje teve o seu foco centrado no novo iPhone. Era este o mais esperado e aquele que mais tinta (virtual) fez correr durante os últimos meses.
No entanto a Apple apresentou mais novidades durante o evento, entre elas dois novos iPod’s. O novo iPod Touch e um novo e renovado iPod Nano. Estes dois novos modelos trazem novidades importantes e são por si dois equipamentos completamente renovados e com características que os destacam.
Ao alterar estes dois iPods a Apple eleva a fasquia para valores muitos altos no que toca aos leitores multimédia e de música.
Na verdade há muito que estes equipamentos deixaram de ser meros leitores de ficheiros de música e passaram a ser verdadeiros centros multimédia.
São equipamentos com características distintas e que os tornam únicos nos mercados que pretendem atingir. São peças que agradam aos seus utilizadores, pelos momentos que proporcionam e pelas suas características.
Ambos os equipamentos passam a incorporar o novo conector Lightning e os novos auscultadores EarPods.
iPod Touch
O iPod Touch, à semelhança da versão anterior, segue as linhas que o iPod tem. O ecrã foi aumentado para as 4 polegadas, foi colocado o processador A5 e a câmara passou a ser uma iSigh de 5 Megapixeis. Talvez a maior novidade é a presença do Siri neste novo modelo.
As dimensões do iPod Touch foram também alteradas, mais uma vez para seguir as linhas do iPhone 5, o que lhe permite estar mais atraente.
A disponibilização do iOS 6 vai ser feita no momento em que começar a ser vendido e todas as novas aplicações vão estar presentes.
O novo iPod Touch vai ser comercializado em duas versões de 32GB e 64GB. Pela primeira vez o iPod Touch vai também ser disponibilizado em 5 cores distintas.
É anunciado como tendo capacidade para tocas música até 40 horas e reproduzir vídeo até 8 horas.
OS preços, da Apple Store, mostram que estes dois modelos vão ser comercializados com preços a partir de 329 €.
Existirá um acessório, a correia iPod touch loop, que será uma forma nova e colorida de ter o iPod touch sempre à mão. Esta correia fará parte de cada pacote iPod Touch.
iPod Nano
A segunda estrela da apresentação de hoje, na família iPod, foi o iPod Nano. Este é actualmente o iPod mais fino que a Apple alguma vez colocou no mercado.
Com apenas 5 mm de largura, tem também o maior ecrã dos iPod Nano, com 2,5 polegadas. Este ecrã é já multi-toque, o que permite uma navegação mais simplificada e intuitiva.
Passou ainda a estar presente um botão Home, à semelhança e outros equipamentos que a Apple tem já no mercado.
A somar a estas novidades temos ainda a destacar a presença da tecnologia Bluetooth, para a transmissão de áudio para dispositivos externos, tais como headphones, colunas ou o equipamento do carro.
O iPod Nano vai estar disponível apenas na versão de 16GB e terá um custo de 169,00 €. Vão ser sete as cores disponíveis para o iPod Nano.
