A EMI Music Publishing Scandinavia e a Remedy Entertainment anunciaram recentemente que o próximo XBLA de nome Alan Wake’s American Nightmare irá contar com um dueto de compositores e intérpretes bem conhecidos da actualidade.
Trata-se de “Club Foot” interpretado pelos britânicos Kasabian e “Watching the Sun Come Up” pelo britânico compositor e vencedor do Prémio Mercury-Prize, Ed Harcourt.
“Having already worked with Remedy on their previous Alan Wake title we were more than happy to continue our relationship with them and I believe that our combined ability to select and supervise moody tracks for Remedy’s upcoming action-adventure will result in a better gameplay experience.” afirmou Andreas Olsson, da EMI Music Publishing Scandinavia.
“Music played an important role in the original Alan Wake and we’ve carried that tradition over to American Nightmare with an exceptionally strong selection of original and licensed songs”, indicou Oskari Häkkinen, Head of Franchise Development at Remedy “and to spice things up a little more, Alan’s old-time buddy and literary agent Barry Wheeler has become the manager of the game’s seminal rock-band Old Gods of Asgard – expect a brand new single to be included with the game!”
Alan Wake’s American Nightmare foi escrito como sendo um titulo de aventura stand-alone, sem necessitar portanto do original. Apresenta no entanto, bastante conteúdo familiar aos possuidores do titulo original. Em adição ao Modo História Alan Wake’s American Nightmare apresenta também Fight Till Dawn, um novo e frenético modo arcade que introduz novos inimigos, novas armas, online leaderboards e muito conteúdo para desbloquear.
