A Microsoft em conjunto com o Pplware, deixa-lhe aqui o convite para ter acesso a um build especial, a mini-beta, que será entregue a todos os que desejarem testar exaustivamente e enviarem à Microsoft algumas informações referentes ao idioma português colocado à disposição nessa build (erros de tradução, de interpretação, etc…).
A ideia será testar e produzir apontamentos que melhorem a aplicação do nosso idioma no novo Windows 7, permitindo uma perfeita colocação do mesmo o mais rápido possível para ser distribuído na versão final.

The Windows International team is currently working in the adaptation of Windows7 to the international markets and shortly will launch a program in the Connect site focused on localization issues (this program is internally called “Mini-Beta”)
While in the already launched Technical Beta the focus is on collecting functionality feedback (in the form of bugs), in the mini-Beta, the focus is on collecting localization bugs (translation errors, terminology feedback, truncations, overlapping, etc.)
For those of you interested in testing the pre-released Portuguese Windows7, this program may interest you.
Windows International is inviting you to setup and test Windows 7 Ultimate edition in Portuguese (Portugal). The goal of this program is to validate the product before it’s launched in Portugal. It’s a selective program, therefore Microsoft will limit the access to this build
The most active participants reporting bugs will be recognized by Microsoft.

Basicamente deverá preencher os dados com o seu primeiro e ultimo nome, informar um endereço passaport mail e o seu endereço completo, para onde lhe será enviada informação sobre a build.
Deve também em inglês, enviar uma pequena frase que explique o porque da sua participação.
Depois é esperar pela mini-beta que será disponibilizada no final de Abril, principio de Maio. Poderá também ter contacto com a ferramenta que falamos aqui, o Handwriting, certamente será um excelente experiência.

Bom, a oferta foi pouca! A Microsoft apenas tinha 75 convites e 25 já estavam reservados. Sobraram 50 para este evento, mas mal colocamos o post e temos mais de 2500 3000 visitas, apareceram logo 400 participações.
