Pai do telemóvel acha o iPhone 6s um equipamento “chato”

Mas aplaude a tecnologia de Realidade Virtual

Os novos iPhones foram apresentados há quase 1 mês e, apesar de já se terem vendido muitos iPhone 6S, a verdade é que os novos iDevices não estão livres de problemas nem de críticas.

Martin Cooper, o responsável pela invenção do telemóvel afirma mesmo que o novo iPhone 6s é um equipamento “chato”.

Numa entrevista ao GeekWire, Martin Cooper, o inventor do telemóvel, revelou não estar muito satisfeito com o iPhone 6s, apresentado pela Apple no passado dia 9 de Setembro.

Cooper, já com os seus bem equilibrados 86 anos, refere que acha o iPhone 6S um equipamento “chato” e deixa uma clara crítica à Apple:

They’re struggling each generation to come up with something interesting […] It’s a little bigger, has more pixels, more megahertz and people couldn’t care less. I think the future is the software. They have to figure out ways to make the phone essential.

Mas não é só à Apple que Martin deixa críticas… elas são direccionadas aos fabricantes no geral, relativamente aos modelos que têm sido criados:

GeekWire: You said you were bored by the new iPhone. What do you think needs to happen next in the mobile industry?

Cooper: The cell phone is about to become real. It’s about to become not just a technological achievement of putting a whole bunch of stuff into a box. The cell phone attempts to do all things for all people, but doesn’t do any of them optimally. I think it’s going to evolve into a bunch of optimal devices.

Mas… se os iPhones não cativam Cooper, quando o tema é Realidade Virtual, a conversa é outra.
