Kenwood, a brand which is best known for its car stereos and home audio components, already dipped its toe in the digital audio player pool earlier this year with a couple of flash-based players, but they’ve just introduced their first hard drive based player, the 20GB HD20GA7. We’re drooling over the 2.2-inch, 320 x 240 pixel LCD screen (compare that with the 220 x 176 pixel display of the iPod photo), but drool is about all you can do with it — you can’t use the HD20GA7 to look at digital photos, watch movies, or anything else that would take advantage of all that high-res goodness. Should be out in Japan by the end of the month.
